Henry Light

This page is in memory of my beautiful precious son Henry born too early because i had caught a
viral infection on the 1st June 2008. He weighed 1lb and was perfect in every way.

I went into premature labour on Friday 30th May 2008, Your daddy and I went to Hospital to be told i
probably have a bug and to go home and rest!! I knew there was something wrong but they picked up
your heartbeat and said everything seemed fine! On Saturday afternoon i lost the mucous plug so i
went back to hospital to be told i had an infection. I was given intravenous antibiotics and a drip.
I started dilating and they said they couldnt stop it because i was before 24 weeks. All this time
my darling Henry i could still feel you moving and kicking about in my tummy.After 40+hours of
labour, i started to push but by this time now you had gone to the angels my love. They rushed me to
theatre for a GA as they suspected scar rupture from my prev c sections.

I never got to hold you straightaway as i was so poorly as i had to have a 4 blood transfusions, i
feel so guilty about this my sweet! Nana held you though. Eventually i got to hold you and i never
wanted to let you go. Henry i love you soo much it hurts.We still have no answers as to why God took
you from us. Why is life so cruel. I will never see your first smile, hear your first words, see
you take your first steps. I come and visit your resting place everyday. I hope you like it there.
Wait for mummy my darling and one day i will join you in heaven and hold you in my arms for
eternity.
